I live in the Netherlands a small country in Europe, next to Germany and across the North Sea from the UK. We have about 16 million people in this small country, so it is very busy in most areas. The largest city is Amsterdam, well known for its canals and pretty houses, as well as for the coffeeshops were you can freely buy and smoke canabis. Now, trust me when i tell you that although it is freely on offer, not many people use it. We are famous for the mills, tulips and cloggs too, but you don’t see those on every street either.
Other peculiar Dutch things are the bicycles, in all shapes and sizes, stroopwafels, oliebollen, kroketten and most of us speak English, even if it’s just a few words.
