ROSLYN HEIGHTS, NY—(1/24/13) –The latest version of 4KidCal!–a mobile calendar app created to help young children learn how to organize events, make plans for the days ahead and develop invaluable long term time management skills-–has been designated a “New and Noteworthy” Educational App on the Itunes store.

With new fun icons for the spring holidays, 4KidCal! is available for download on the App Store’s Education category for $1.99.  The new version is compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch (requires iOS 4.3 or later and 8.5 MB), has been updated for iOS 6, and is available globally. The app makes planning a colorful and highly intuitive experience, with simple task modules and effortless scheduling options providing youngsters with an avenue to adopt personal planning into their daily repertoire.

4KidCal! turns the mobile calendar app into a visually appealing educational experience simple enough for kids of any age to use. Scheduling is as easy as tapping on the date an event is to be scheduled, selecting one of the app’s many audio-enabled interactive reminder icons, and recording an audio memo with the “What, Where and When” to outline the planned event. Since the app is specifically built for children, it’s designed to help them jump in and start planning their schedules with little preparation.
