Brush of Truth by Story Bayou. Brush of Truth was written by mom Julie Landry Laviolette to give older kids a full-length, interactive book experience. Written in second person, Brush of Truth tells the story of two tweens who find an enchanted paintbrush in a “choose-your-adventure” format. It has 125 pages of story, 65 choices of what happens next, and 20 possible endings. Laviolette’s company, Story Bayou, a play on “story by you,” makes interactive book apps for tweens 8-12. so kids will read more.
